BBC Radio 4 Opportunity

BBC Radio 4 Opportunity

The National Enterprise Network has been approached by a producer at BBC Radio 4 as they try to capture the views and experiences of self-employed people affected by the current cost of living crisis.

Let’s act now to make our voices heard

During the next few weeks, our contact at BBC Radio 4 is conducting interviews for 2 programmes that will air in mid-August: one about unemployment and one about energy costs.

There will be an initial phone call and then a recorded Zoom interview, lasting no more than 1 hour.

criteria:
- currently self-employed
- was previously unemployed/ was made redundant around 2008
- currently struggling financially
and/or
- has lived through previous financial crisis

Have a chance to tell their story

Please understand this is a pre-recorded interview (not live) and that once they have been interviewed there is no guarantee your story will make the Radio 4 broadcast. There is no payment.

Thank you very much for getting involved
