Counting down to 31 January self-assessment tax returns deadline

HMRC has started to remind the self-employed that time is ticking for getting self-assessment tax returns filed in time for the 31 January 2025 deadline. Completing your tax return before the deadline will help you to budget for any tax payment that is due.

If you have not completed a tax return before, it can take a few days for the registration process to be finalised.
