Driffield Show
Wednesday 17 July
We are looking forward to sharing a stand with Visit East Yorkshire once again on Plot K170, in front of the Council’s corporate marquee, close to the show office.
We will be giving out copies of the Enjoy Local Food and Drink Guide and holding a prize draw with the chance to win a local produce hamper.
If you are going to the show, it would be lovely to see you.
As always, we are happy to have a small supply of your leaflets on our stand.

Sledmere Christmas Food and Craft Market to return
Sledmere House and Gardens are thrilled to be holding Sledmere’s Christmas Food and Craft Market on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 November from 10am - 4pm and they would love to invite you to attend.
The Christmas market will be open during the day, coinciding with their usual trading hours, and will bring back some of the elements of the longstanding Christmas Fair that Sledmere held pre-Covid, but with more than just shopping! As well as stalls, the space will also encompass Christmas ideas, demos, food, drink and makers.
Stallholders must be able to attend both days.
Pitch for both days: £50
Discounted rate for East Yorkshire Local Food Network members for both days: £40
Electric for both days: £20
A percentage of the proceeds taken on the door will go to their nominated charities of the year - Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Millie Wright Children’s Charity.
At this stage, they are just gaining an idea of how many stalls they will have, to aid in the planning and logistics of the Market.
If you would be interested, please email events@sledmerehouse.com and they will get back to you shortly with an application form and further details about the activities they are planning alongside shopping.

North Ferriby Wednesday Club
This sociable, women’s group meets in the Priory Room at the Village Hall on alternate Wednesday evenings from 8 - 10pm. They are looking for people to give talks or presentations lasting approx. one hour, followed by a cuppa. They are happy for speakers to promote their businesses and bring items for sale if relevant.
