Business Companion Website launched
A government backed website is available to provide trading standards advice and help businesses to understand how the trading standards and consumer protection law affects their business. Including basic guides and more in-depth explanation. The site also features a guide on selling goods via online platforms.
Withdrawal of paper £20 and £50 notes
The Bank of England is reminding businesses that paper £20 and £50 notes will be withdrawn from the end of September 2022. New Rules for European van licences
From 21 May, users of vans and light goods vehicles weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 tonnes that transport goods for hire from the UK into Europe, must carry an International Operators’ Licence. For more information, please visit:
