The Humberside Occupational Health and Safety Group
The Humberside Occupational Health and Safety Group are a non-profit making voluntary organisation who are celebrating their 90th year next year having been instigated in 1934 by a small pioneering band of people to reduce accidents and instil the principles of safety as a moral as well as statutory obligation.
Health and Safety has never ranked so highly on everyone’s agenda as recently.
Small organisations with fewer than 6 employees can become members for £20 for the year. Under 250 employees is still only £50 for the year, whilst over 250 is £75.
This enables members to attend bi-monthly meetings if they wish. The Company is the member not the individual so this enables any employees to attend the meetings or seek advice.

Free access to the experience of other members on any Health and Safety query.
Our membership includes large companies such as ABP, Arco, KCOM and KWL.
The committee consists of an ex-Principal H. S. E. inspector, two solicitors and various Health and Safety officers.
We hold an annual awards presentation event to celebrate the success of the participants and winners.
