About this event
Welcome to Entrepreneurial Women: Monthly Mingle with award-winning entrepreneur Jess Gosling
A monthly event which offers the opportunity to step away from your business or side-hustle and get inspired by an entrepreneurial woman making waves in their industry.
This month we welcome Jess Gosling a UK civil servant, award-winning entrepreneur (social enterprise), public speaker, academic and diversity, equality and inclusion champion.
About Jess Gosling
With an eclectic 10+ years in various sectors and industries, Jess has consistently strived to bridge the gap between culture, diplomacy and innovation. She spent over seven years abroad in deployments with the United Nations, UK Government, NGOs, civil society, startups in EMEA, MENA and LATAM regions. She has built her career around interdisciplinary thinking through working on issues like gender mainstreaming, public policy and digital inclusivity for the past nine years.
In a quest to further build on collaborative networks and global knowledge exchange, she began her PhD in political science/public policy last year. Her project builds on global networks, seeking to look at specifically nation-branding, public policy and the creative industries within the UK, Mexico, Georgia and South Korea. She has a deep passion for how we can come together with the use of technology and digital skills, and this is something her PhD project is drawing upon. She frequently hosts free workshops with the General Assembly, Enterprise Nation and other tech-focused companies around soft skills, impact and diversity & inclusion.
Through utilising a positive, proactive, and solution-focused view, she is committed to several pro-bono initiatives in her spare time. She is the co-founder of a social enterprise, the Growth & Grace Collective (G&G), a global community changing the narrative of up-skilling, learning and development. In their first year, they powered up 2500+ people over 70 events with a truly global attendance, from Chile, Kenya, Jordan, to Singapore. In January 2021, she launched Gosling & Co. a platform to challenge the perceptions around self-promotion, unconscious biases and imposter syndrome under-represented groups face through free events.
In the past year, Jess’s work has been recognised globally:
Most Influential Women in the Tech UK 2021, Computer Weekly
Named 27th in the Top 100 Women Future Leaders 2020, Yahoo Finance + Involve
Shortlisted for Global Public Service Team of the Year 2020: Championing Equality, Apolitical
Gold Tier #IamRemarkable Workshop Facilitator, Google
Jess is participating in this event on a pro-bono basis and any views shared do not reflect her employer.
We chat to Jess about her experiences as a leader and career to date. Grab a coffee, get inspired and connect with entrepreneurial women.

Thursday 26 August: How to tell your brand story
The stories we tell about who we are, what we do and why it’s important, are the foundations of how we build great brands.
Story has long been at the very centre of how we effectively communicate our ideas as people and as brands. That’s because story drives understanding and connection between us, connection to our ideas, and creates value.
In this webinar, Tim Elliott will share his ‘Brand Star’ model and how it can help you to create a stand-out brand story.
Please send any questions you’d like Tim to answer during the webinar to events@enterprisenation.com.

On registering for the webinar, you will receive an automatic email from Go to Webinar with the link to access the event. If you don’t receive the link within two hours of signing up via Eventbrite, please let us know by emailing events@enterprisenation.com (Please note, it may be in your junk folder).
