Event: Free Workshops: Visual Display & Window Dressing - 20/10/21

‘Presenting Your Business to Attract More Customers & Increase Sales’

We are delighted to be able to offer Network members the opportunity to join us at one of our free informal workshops, led by visual merchandising professional and trainer, Helen Goodwin from MADE YOU LOOK!
To see some examples of Helen’s work visit

This workshop will help you take your shop window designs and interior displays to the next level and stand out from the crowd. In turn, this will attract more customers, enhance their experience, increase sales and the chances of a return visit. You’ll be amazed how a couple of simple, inexpensive changes can make all the difference to your business!

Who is the Workshop Aimed at?
Local food and drink producers, retailers and hospitality businesses in East Yorkshire and the surrounding area. There is something for everyone! Whether you have a shop window, display cabinet, table-top or bar display, market stall, exhibitor stand, have an event to promote or are just selling products or services online, the basic principles apply. It is also a good opportunity to take a look at your business from a new perspective and consider places where you could have a display area or make adjustments to your signage, decor, lighting or colour schemes to provide an even more welcoming experience for your customers.

Learning Objectives
- Importance of display and getting messages and first impressions right
- Knowing and inspiring your customers
- Displays are everywhere, not just in shop windows. Where can you put yours?
- Where to find inspiration, ideas and concepts
- Basic guidelines for building and creating effective displays
- How to keep your displays looking fresh
- Planning ahead for future displays and promotions.

This workshop is designed to be fun, inspirational and as personable as possible and to give you the opportunity to share ideas and network with like-minded businesses. You will receive a set of notes to take away and leave full of enthusiasm with new ideas to move your business forward!
