Have you ever started your own business with the hope of achieving more freedom? If so, you’re not alone. Many entrepreneurs embark on their journey with dreams of flexibility and independence, but the reality often differs from our expectations.
In this Lunch and Learn, Anne Beth Jordan and Rachel McKay will share their personal stories and insights. They’ll discuss their own experiences with freedom in business and the strategies they’ve employed to shape their paths.
They will also explore the powerful role of boundaries in achieving freedom. Boundaries are not meant to restrict or hinder us; instead, they serve as tools to safeguard our wellbeing and create a harmonious balance.
Anne Beth, business adviser on Enterprise Nation and mentor for the Government Growth Scheme, has worked in fashion, design, import and export for many years out of China and India, as well as wholesaling to British high street retailers. She has now started a new business in mentoring start-ups, creatives and established businesses that have reached a tipping point and need to reassess and transition to a new way forward.
Rachel, director at Seascape Coaching Limited, is a career transition coach and mentor for quiet leaders. She has over 25 years of leadership experience and is also an NLP Practitioner, which gives her coaching an added dimension.
Key takeaways from this session:
- Find out how to define freedom according to your desires and aspirations
- Understand how to set boundaries that help you keep your definition of freedom
- Learn how to achieve balance that works for you
