Phil is an accomplished entrepreneur who has embarked on a mission to ensure business owners don’t feel isolated in their journey to the top. He’s the host of the Leeds Business Podcast, where he thrives on hearing and sharing other people’s diverse business experiences. He went from an accidental kitchen table start-up with no investment, all the way to a multi-million pound sale to a PLC 18 years later.
Today, Phil serves as a Business Sounding Board, acting as a guiding light for ambitious SME owners. This role encompasses elements of a business coach and business mentor, offering a sympathetic ear and additional perspective. He has appeared on over 60 podcasts, webinars and interviews, from around the whole globe, talking on a variety of business subjects.
Phil is a regular contributor to the ‘Voices’ section of The Yorkshire Post, an active angel investor and has also been a volunteer mentor with a number of organisations including The Prince’s Trust and Young Enterprise and speaks regularly at Leeds schools to pupils about careers.
