When it comes to subscriptions, customer lifetime value (LTV), retention strategies and cash flow management are particularly crucial to understand and manage. Nick will explain why customer lifetime value and retention are pivotal in the success of subscription models and how these factors differ significantly from one-off sales strategies.

Nick started Purpose Digital in 2020 after three years as head of e-commerce and marketing at Mous, a tech accessory start-up. In his time there, he grew online revenue from £1 million to £17 million turnover while building a best-in-class in-house e-commerce and marketing team.

The focus of Purpose Digital is to develop and execute growth strategies with brands. Acting as fractional CMOs and digital marketers, they plug knowledge gaps, identify growth opportunities and help brands take on their biggest growth opportunities.

Creative Growth: Hull and East Yorkshire is an exciting new business support programme for businesses in the creative industries in Hull and East Yorkshire.

Delivered in partnership between the HEY Business, Growth and Skills Hub (the former HEY LEP), Hull City Council, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and the University of Hull, the programme will equip ambitious growth-orientated creative businesses with the tools they need to grow and access the external investment to do so.

The programme is funded by the government department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and is one of 12 regional programmes operating across England. Innovate UK - the government’s innovation agency - will work alongside the programme to offer grant funding and access to external investor networks.

Join us for breakfast on Thursday 16th May to learn more about the programme, incuding the support available and how to access it. Business advisors will be there on the day to discuss the programe with interested businesses and EOIs will be open to firms on the day.
